#CFM50Years - The journey continues

Our journey began on September 24th, 1974, with a successful 50/50 partnership between Safran Aircraft Engines and GE Aerospace.
From Delta Air Lines’s Flying Tigers selecting the #CFM56-2 to re-engine the DC-8 Super 70 in 1979, to the launch of the groundbreaking #CFMLEAP engine in 2008, we've achieved incredible milestones. In 2019, we celebrated one billion flight hours of the #CFM56, and in 2021, we launched the #CFMRISE Program.
These are just a few examples of our many achievements. Here's to 50 years of being #ExtraordinaryTogether.
